Web assets are not just pretty pictures on a web site. They are any items included to:
- Enhance its appearance
- Capture and hold the attention of the audience
- Convey a message
- Inject personality and "feeling"
Why call them assets?
Because they are (or should) be a valuable addition to your web site and great care should be taken when you choose them.
Any image, graphic, animation, slide show or video you use in your site reflects on your product and brand.
